Hingis signs on with Burnaby company
Martina Hingis, winner of five Grand Slam tournaments, has launched a line of tennis wear with Burnaby-based Tonic Lifestyle Apparel.
Although the announcement was made in Vancouver recently, the line will not be available until March 2012. Hingis, 30, turned pro at the age of 14 and retired in 2007 after testing positive for cocaine.
Tonic's head office is on William Street at Boundary Road in Burnaby.
