Burnaby companies recognized
Two companies with Burnaby offices were recognized recently, one for its employee diversity, the other for good management.
Stantec, whose services include planning, design and management of construction projects, was named one of Canada's best diversity employers by the editors of Canada's Top 100 Employers. The competition recognizes employers that have exceptional workplace diversity and inclusiveness programs.
Headquartered in Edmonton, Stantec has 139 employees in Burnaby.
Meanwhile, engineering, planning and technology firm Delcan was named one of Canada's 50 best-managed companies in a business awards program sponsored by Deloitte, CIBC, National Post and Queen's School of Business.
