7-Eleven gives away Slurpees on July 11
Once again, Wednesday, July 11 is the date for 7-Eleven's annual Slurpee giveaway between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. or until stocks last.
Over 470 stores from B.C. to Ontario will be giving away 1,000 7.11-ounce Slurpee drinks to customers, marking the company's 43rd year in Canada.
In Burnaby, that's 5,000 of the slush drinks in total that are up for grabs.
For 13 years straight, Manitoba has been the Slurpee Capital of the World for the highest average number of the drinks sold per store in a region. It's followed by Calgary and Detroit.
