SFU Philosophers' Café to discuss how well Metrotown works
Simon Fraser University's continuing studies presents a Philosophers' Café discussion on the Metrotown neighbourhood on Wednesday, July 20, 7 to 8:45 p.m. at Bob Prittie Metrotown library.
Burnaby was the first municipality to make a major commitment to increasing density and has since grown dramatically with the arrival of SkyTrain. Moderated by Gordon Price, SFU's director of city programs and a former Vancouver city councillor, participants will discuss Metrotown's virtues and challenges and how it can get better in the future.
Free, no registration required. Everyone welcome.
