Burnaby seeks nominations for citizen of year
Burnaby city hall is seeking nominations for the Kushiro Cup, given annually to the city's 2011 citizen of the year.
Eligible nominees must be Burnaby residents who have served as a volunteer in the community in cultural, recreational or non-elected civic activities. A resume of the candidate must be supplied as well as the nominators' names and telephone numbers.
Deadline for submissions is Monday, March 5 at 4:45 p.m. The award will be presented on May 4.
