Stoney Creek plant cleanup Saturday
The public is invited to join the Lower Mainland Green Team and Stoney Creek Environment Committee to remove invasive ivy and plant native plants and trees at Stoney Creek in Burnaby on Saturday, Sept. 29, 9:45 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The event goes rain or shine and participants meet at the Jennifer Atchison Environment Centre on the Stoney Creek Community School grounds at 2730 Beaverbrook Crescent. Refreshments, as well as gloves, tools and equipment, will be provided.
