Job fair Monday at Hilton Vancouver Metrotown

Job seekers will be able to see what sorts of opportunities may be available to them when the BC Jobs Fair stops at the Crystal ballroom in the Hilton Vancouver Metrotown on Monday.

Exhibitors include employers from various sectors, post-secondary institutions, industry associations, training and health authorities.

The BC government says there will be more than one million job openings in the province over the next 10 years, including over 350,000 new positions. To prepare to fill those openings, the BC Jobs Start Here mobile exhibit will also be on hand to provide information about skills training, employment services, job banks and career development.

The fair runs from 12-7 p.m. The Hilton Vancouver Metrotown is at 6083 McKay Ave., Burnaby.
