Canuck Santorelli to take part in Down Syndrome run June 1

Burnaby native Mike Santorelli of the Vancouver Canucks will be among the supporters taking part in the Run Up for Down Syndrome on Sunday, June 1 at Simon Fraser University.

The 18th annual run hosted by the Burnaby-based Down Syndrome Research Foundation, raises funds and awareness for people with Down syndrome.

Last year more than $80,000 was raised for research and educational programs.

Participants can have their photos taken with Santorelli and enter a draw for an autographed jersey by signing up as a Triple-21 partner (more info at http://dsrf.org/Triple21). Top fundraisers will be entered into draws for free WestJet flights or a stay at in an ocean-view suite at Vancouver Island’s Beach Club Resort.
