Local dancers in RWB Nutcracker production
The Royal Winnipeg Ballet production of the Nutcracker at Queen Elizabeth Theatre will have a large contingent of young Burnaby and New Westminster dancers this weekend.
Burnaby dancers include Emma Earle (mouse), Daina Zolty (Clara), Merissa Mah (Dieter), Selmah Kapidzic (Mountie), Alyssa Sasis and Sharlene Sais (angels), all from HZ Ballet Classique, and Shona Kiyama (Mountie) from Spotlight Dance Centre.
New Westminster dancers include Sydney Turner (mouse), Aleksei Lehman (party boy), Morgan Dall (Mountie) and Madison Doerksen, all from the Northwest Academy of Performing Arts.
Tickets are $30.25 to $87.75 plus service charges and are available through Ticketmaster at 1-855-985-2787 or ticketmaster.ca.
