Home invaders target South Burnaby home
Burnaby RCMP are seeking three armed men involved in a home invasion Tuesday afternoon.
The three men forced their way into a home in the 7000-block of Burris Street on June 14 just after 12 p.m.
They tied up the only person home at the time, a 19-year-old woman, and threatened her with a knife. The attack appears to have been targeted, say police, since the suspects had knowledge of the home's security system and what valuables would be found there.
The suspects stole two personal safes and a computer tower. The contents of the safes have not yet been disclosed to investigators.
The only description of the suspects is that they are all Asian males. The victim did not see any vehicle which may have been associated with the suspects.
Anyone with information on the home invasion is asked to call Burnaby RCMP at 604-294-7922 or to remain anonymous, CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
