Buskers sought for local malls

The Lougheed and Brentwood town centres are auditioning buskers to perform, as well as artisans to showcase their wares, at both shopping malls.


Auditions and pre-selections will be held Tuesday, July 26, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Lougheed Town Centre. Check in at customer service. Selected applicants must be available Wednesdays and Fridays from Aug. 5 to  Sept. 2.


Buskers will be paid a $50 honorarium a day and be allowed to sell their CDs or DVDs and collect money from mall customers. Info: lougheedtowncentre.com or brentwoodtowncentre.com.
