Chevron refinery in Burnaby to run maintenance operations in October

Burnaby’s Chevron Refinery conduct a maintenance shutdown, or turnaround, of several operating units at the refinery in October. Unaffected sections of the refinery will continue to operate normally. These shutdowns occur on a regular basis and are an important part of ongoing efforts to maintain safe and reliable operations, the company says.

“We’re doing our best to plan things carefully in order to prevent work-related noise at night during this 24/7 event,” said Nick Middleton of Chevron in the newsletter.
