Burnaby man, 22, charged in Stanley Cup riot

Crown prosecutors have approved 26 more charges against eight suspects in the Stanley Cup riot, including two against a Burnaby man.

Sean Yates, 22, of Burnaby is charged with participating in a riot and assaulting a police officer.

Meanwhile, the Integrated Riot Investigation Team has recommended 278 criminal charges against 100 suspected rioters. So far, Crown counsel has approved a total of 103 charges against 38 people.
