New boardwalk construction at Deer Lake
A new boardwalk construction project is underway at Deer Lake and is expected to last until April 15, dependent on favourable weather conditions and water levels.
The construction site is on the existing gravel trail at the northwest corner of the lakeshore and work will take place from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, when the boardwalk will be closed.
At the end of each day a ramp will be installed to allow public access to the boardwalk.
