Burnaby RCMP to host community safety forum
Burnaby RCMP is hosting the first of four community forums at University Highlands elementary school, 9388 Tower Road, on Tuesday, April 10, 6 to 8 p.m.
The forum, in the UniverCity neighbourhood next to Simon Fraser University, will include a talk by Burnaby RCMP's Chief Supt. David Critchley and Burnaby city staff and officials answering questions and providing updates on the detachment's policing priorities for 2012.
Community engagement is an essential component of crime reduction and Burnaby RCMP want to hear the public's input and concerns about public safety issues.
