Mowat house ready for moving day

The historical Daniel and Amelia Mowat house is reflected in the mirror of the truck on which it will be moved to a new site facing McKay Avenue. The house, originally built in 1913, is being preserved and incorporated as a feature in a new high-rise and townhouse condo development being built on the site at Beresford and McKay. The Craftsman-style farmhouse is one of the oldest surviving houses in the Burnaby's Central Park area.
