Man, 22, recovering after stabbing
A 22-year-old man is recovering in hospital after being stabbed Wednesday evening.
The man was brought to Burnaby Hospital about 8:30 p.m. on Sept. 19 with several stab wounds and head injuries, say Burnaby RCMP. He was transferred to Royal Columbian Hospital and while his injuries are serious, he is expected to recover.
The victim was uncooperative with the police, but did say he had been assaulted by several dark-skinned males at a pub on Kingsway, possibly in Vancouver.
Burnaby RCMP are still trying to determine where exactly the attack took place.
Anyone with information about the assault is asked to contact Burnaby RCMP at 604-294-7922 or, to remain anonymous, Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
