Burnaby firefighter is Mr. October in Hall of Flame Calendar
Burnaby firefighter Norman Chow can add "Mr. October" to his resume after being chosen for the fundraising Hall of Flame Calendar this year.
Chow started out fighting forest fires, including the devastating ones in Barriere in the summer of 2003, and moved on to the Burnaby Fire Department six years ago.
He will be taking part in the annual Hall of Flame Calendar Firefighters Fashion Show at the West Coast Women's Show in Abbotsford on Friday, Oct. 19 at 7:30 p.m.
The show will be hosted by Ronnie Negus, one of the Real Housewives of Vancouver.
The West Coast Women's Show, Western Canada's largest women's consumer event, takes place at the Fraser Valley Trade and Exhibition Centre (TRADEX) in Abbotsford Oct. 19 to 21. Info and tickets: www.westcoastwomen.net.
