Police seek witnesses after fatal motorcycle crash

A motorcyclist died Saturday at the s-curve on Marine Way near North Fraser Way in Burnaby following a crash.

Burnaby RCMP are seeking witnesses after a man was killed in a motorcycle crash on Marine Way Saturday afternoon.

The driver of a red Ducati motorcycle died after the bike left the road and crashed, between North Fraser Way and the Queensborough Bridge, at 5:30 p.m.

He was a 64-year-old man from Surrey, according to media reports.

Police want to interview anyone who might have seen the crash or how the motorcycle was being driven before the accident. Anyone with information is asked to call Burnaby RCMP at 604-294-7922.
