B.C.'s Christy Clark is the third most popular premier in Canada, according to a new poll from Angus Reid Global.

Clark finished with a 42 per cent approval in the survey, which polled 6,580 "randomly selected" "Canadian adults in nine provinces about the performance of their premiers."

Saskatchewan's Brad Wall finished first with an approval rating of 66 per cent, followed by second-place Stephen McNeil, premier of Nova Scotia, at 57 per cent. Wall finished first in Angus Reid's same survey in 2012.

"Saskatchewan and Nova Scotia are the only provinces where more respondents approve of their premiers' performance than disapprove," the survey reads.

Coming in fourth behind Clarke was Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne at 35 per cent.

Newfoundland and Labrador Premier Kathy Dunderdale finished last with an surveyed approval of 24 per cent.

Alberta Premier Alison Redford tied for third-last in the poll at 31 per cent.
