Workshop on anxiety

The FORCE Society and  Anxiety BC will be holding a free seminar for parents to help them recognize and deal with anxious kids.

The seminar, to be held Wednesday, Feb. 12, 7-9 p.m., at the Nikkei National Museum and Cultural Centre, will look at common childhood fears and how parents can respond with empathy and understanding. It will also give parents tips to coach their children to think helpful thoughts and gradually face fears.
