Lions Gate Bridge re-opens, but delays expected (PHOTOS)
The Lions Gate Bridge is now open, after a multi-vehicle incident closed the bridge in both directions – in all three lanes – on Tuesday morning.
CTV Vancouver has reported that two people were taken to Lions Gate Hospital in North Vancouver, but with non-life-threatening injuries.
With the bridge closed, drivers and commuters were being asked to use the Iron Workers Memorial Second Narrows Bridge or the SeaBus instead.
Delays and congestion are still expected.
