Re: Back to school a family affair (NewsLeader, Sept. 7)
I think it’s wonderful that the woman from India along with her family is going back to school. She’s only been here in Canada for a year and wants to upgrade on her English. It’s too bad that her husband’s medical degree isn’t recognized in Canada, even though they recognize the medical degree in the U.S.
It’s also disheartening when a bachelor of arts isn’t recognized in Canada. It takes that much longer to redo a degree.
