Nugent-Hopkins wins top honour again
Burnaby's Ryan Nugent-Hopkins has won back-to-back NHL rookie of the month honours.
The Edmonton Oilers' first overall pick in the 2011 entry draft had six goals and 16 points in 14 games in November. Following play on Thursday, Nugent-Hopkins was tied for fifth in league scoring with 27 points, including 11 goals, in 25 games.
Nugent-Hopkins, 18, joins Pittsburgh Penguins forward Evgeni Malkin, who did in 2006, as the only players to sweep the honours in the first two months of their career.
