Kights' Madden and Carney moving on

The core of the St. Thomas More Knights football team's offence is moving on.

Graduating running back Kyle Madden will be a half back at the University of British Columbia next season. He joins four other Knights' alumni playing for the Thunderbirds, Jake Woodson, Jordan Bosa, Ross Hilliam and Sabdeep Sidhu.

Quarterback Mike Carney is moving east to pivot the University of Guelph Gryphons. Carney was the BC High School Football quarterback of the year as well as the academic player of the year.
