Nine Burnaby players named to B.C. soccer squads
Nine Burnaby kids were named by BC Soccer to provincial teams Wednesday.
Midfielder Daniel Pervan and forward Tomoya Takahashi made the under-16 boys squad while forward Christian Nichele is on the U15 team, midfielder Stefan Cuk the U14 squad, and forward Nathan Graziano the U13.
On the girls teams, forward Seina Kashima gets to play on the under-16 provincial team. The U15 squad will have goalkeeper Sydney Bell and midfielder Teagan McManus of Burnaby while defender Lauren Rea is on the U14 team.
All of the Burnaby players suit up for Mountain United FC except for Takahashi, who plays for Fusion FC.
