Belle top Clan at opening tournament
The Simon Fraser University men’s golf team led by Burnaby’s Michael Belle came in seventh in a season-opening tournament in Bellingham, Wash., this week.
Belle finished the three-round NCAA tourney in 16th place shooting a four-over par 220 total. The hosts from Western Washington University won the tournament with a team score of 848, while SFU shot 885.
