Devils triumph in Roadrunner Romp

The Burnaby Devils won the under-14 tier 2 division at the Richmond Roadrunners Romp field lacrosse tournament last weekend by downing the Bellingham Steelheads 9-7 in the final.

During the round robin, the Devils defeated Ridge Meadows 9-1, Seattle Startz 10-1 and Delta 18-3. They then beat Mid-Island 15-4 in the semifinals.

In the final, Tavin Grant scored three goals, Josh Dumont had two while singles went to Mack Burns, Joel Sinclair, Tristan Dalin and Liam Smith.
