Clan women move up NCAA rankings to No. 13
The Simon Fraser University women’s basketball team is moving on up the rankings.
The latest USA Today Top 25 coaches poll has the Clan 13th in the NCAA Division II rankings. They debuted at No. 17 two weeks ago before moving up to 16 last week.
The climb comes on the heels of a pair of Great Northwest Athletic Conference victories over Saint Martin’s (82-45) and Western Oregon (80-38) last week. The Clan are 8-1 overall and 2-0 in conference play.
SFU won’t play again until they take on Trinity Western University in a non-conference game at the West Gym on Dec. 29 at 6 p.m.
