SFU women sink free throws and Seawolves
Charity begins at home which in basketball can only be good for those on the receiving end.
Simon Fraser University's Erin Chambers was a perfect six for six from the charity stripe, otherwise known as the free throw line, as the Clan defeated the visiting University of Alaska Anchorage Seawolves 60-52 at SFU's West Gym on Thursday. Chambers led the Clan with 20 points and four assists while Nayo Raincock-Ekunwe was the top rebounder with 17.
New Westminster's Kia van Laare scored four points, including going two-for-two in free throws, in 13 minutes of playing time.
