BLRC beats Wanderers

The Burnaby Lake Rugby Club consolidated its first-place standing in Rugby BC’s Premier League by downing the visiting Castaway Wanderers 18-8 Saturday.

Jeke Gotegate and Scott Mackay scored tries for Burnaby while Geoff Ryan kicked two penalties and a convert. Burnaby’s next game is in Victoria against No. 2 James Bay on March 22.
